CULTURAL RESISTANCE WORKSHOPS

Led by Ahmed Tobasi and Zoe Lafferty, their practice focuses on the use of culture as a form of resistance and how to harness personal storytelling as a powerful tool for connection and change. Through playful and practical exercises, we explore how creativity can fuel social and political transformation, both in Palestine and beyond, using art to challenge injustice, celebrate resilience, and inspire meaningful action.

We enjoy working with professional artists, activists, community groups, and students of all ages. Pratical workshops or more formal talks can be tailored in length and to the interests and size of your group.

Working in live and digital formats, Ahmed and Zoe are experts in testimonial, verbatim and applied theatre, circumnavigating censorship and radical leadership on the frontline of change. Together and separately, Ahmed and Zoe have led workshops worldwide, including in Catalunya, Palestine, Ukraine, Chile, Japan, Pakistan, the USA, and across Europe.

THE REVOLUTION'S PROMISE

A global solidarity project, The Revolution's Promise, explores through testimonies the brutal censorship of Palestinian artists.

Invite us to work with your theatre, university, festival or local community to stage a reading of The Revolution's Promise.

Over several days, we collaborate with your participants

to stage a public reading, fostering a deep exploration of cultural resistance and the transformative power of the arts.

The process is flexible, welcoming professional actors or those newer to performance.
